Sea-Land secures exclusive distribution deal with VBASE Oil

Sea-Land Chemical Company, a specialty chemical distributor based in Cleveland, Ohio, U.S.A., unveiled an exclusive supplier agreement with VBASE Oil Company. This partnership aims to distribute VBASE’s synthetic ester base oils across North America.

VBASE Oil, based in Pendleton, South Carolina, U.S.A., produces VBASE Secondary Polyol Ester™ (SPE) base oils, which allow formulators to develop a new generation of innovative environmentally acceptable lubricants. The technology is an evolution over the well-established primary polyol esters (neo-polyol esters) which are commonly used in refrigeration, aviation, and compressor lubricants for their excellent oxidative stability and low-temperature properties.
