S-OIL expands its Group II/III Base Oil Business in Australia and New Zealand through Agency Agreement with ASCC

Seoul, January 27th, 2014 – S-OIL signed an agency agreement with ASCC (Australasian Solvents and Chemicals Company) to commence storage tank sales of its Group II base oils in Australia and New Zealand marketplace.

S-OIL’s well-known Group II base oil brand, Super-31 and Super-96 will be available at storage tank in Geelong, Australia from March 2014. With its competitive capability, ASCC will be acting as S-OIL’s local agent in order to provide blenders in Australia and New Zealand with enhanced service and accessibility to S-OIL’s Group II/III base oil products. Furthermore, S-OIL’s Group II and Group III base oils are directly available from its production site in Onsan, Korea with various delivery options to meet customers’ needs with flexibility.

S-OIL emphasized that, through the agreement, they will continue to satisfy evolving needs of Australian marketplace where the demand for premium quality base oils keeps growing due to increasing stringent technical requirements to meet industry standards.
