From 29 to 31 January 2019, OilDoc invited to Rosenheim (Bavaria, Germany) to the OilDoc Conference and Exhibition. The biennial conference is the trend-setting event for lubrication, maintenance and condition monitoring in Europe. The Who is Who of the lubricants and maintenance industry meets here to discuss the latest developments and innovations.

International experts from the field gave comprehensive insights into their daily work and their latest findings with 105 up-to-date specialist lectures in four lecture halls. The focus this year was on asset management and ISO 55000, new sensor technologies and the increasing number of specialized lubricants. “The presentations were superb and they were relevant to the issues that we are seeing in the field today,” said one of the participants.

In the spacious exhibition area, 50 companies from industry and research presented their products and services. During the breaks, there were numerous opportunities to make new contacts and deepen existing partnerships.

A large number of the conference participants used the Come-together Party and the “Little Oktoberfest” for further networking and exchange. Especially the Oktoberfest was a real highlight to the visitors – enjoyed Bavarian beer, regional cuisine, bullriding, a performance by the traditional Bavarian dancers and live music.

So, this year’s OilDoc Conference was a complete success! With roughly 500 participants from 33 countries, it set a new visitor record. 95% of the participants would recommend the OilDoc Conference to others. One visitor enthused: “In the past, I have not seen a conference so well organized and filled with high-quality expert contributions.”

The interest in up-to-date information on lubrication, maintenance and condition monitoring as well as the professional exchange with experts in these fields continues unabated. The date of the next OilDoc Conference should already been reserved in the calendar. It will take place from Feb. 2-4 2021 in Rosenheim, Germany.
