Morris Makes Its Mark On Franchise Programme

A leading oil blender is gaining significant momentum in the franchise dealership market by securing new deals with the biggest names in the business.

Morris Lubricants has recently become an approved supplier of the National Ford Retail Dealers Association (NFRDA), strengthening its ties with Ford dealerships up and down the country.

The Shrewsbury-based company has also enjoyed recent successes in encouraging Honda, Toyota and Hyundai dealerships to switch to Morris Lubricants.

The company’s OEM-approved products form a crucial part in servicing vehicles within the manufacturer warranty period.

The upturn in franchise dealership business has coincided with Morris Lubricants appointing a new franchise dealership manager with two decades of experience in the industry.

Mark Bacon, who has taken on the role, said: “The mind-set has long been that only the household brands in oils and lubricants can supply products for the big-name marques like Ford and Honda.

“But our OEM-approved products have been proven to be of the very highest standard and more and more dealerships are turning to Morris Lubricants.

“Furthermore, some of our competitors have outsourced elements of their supply chain to third parties. The quality of their products may be good, but there is disillusionment when it comes down to service. Dealerships need that confidence in supply as well as quality.

“At Morris Lubricants, we are proud to be continuing to invest in our UK infrastructure, making sure that the needs of each customer are met.”

Morris Lubricants is also pushing forward with Tank Smart installations, helping dealers keep on top of oil orders. Tank Smart technology allows dealerships to monitor oil levels online. Automated replenishment services are available so that stock never runs out.

Mark added: “Morris Lubricants is committed to excellent customer service. Our experts are on the other end of a telephone to offer advice on any query.

“We believe in a personal service for all of our customers, large and small alike.”

Morris Lubricants is a British company that has been manufacturing lubricants in Shrewsbury since 1869. Over 140 years of development has seen the company grow to become one of Europe’s leading oil blenders and marketers with a reputation for quality and service.

The company offers an extensive range of programme lubricants covering a wide variety of application areas.
