LIQUI MOLY unveils enhanced bicycle product range

With more than 65 years of experience in automotive lubrication, Germany’s LIQUI MOLY is now applying its expertise to the world of bicycles. The company’s “BIKE” care series, designed for all types of two-wheelers, has been revamped with a fresh look and innovative product additions.

There are approximately one billion bicycles in use globally. Regardless of the type—e-bike, gravel bike, city bike, BMX, racing bike, or mountain bike—the goal is to ensure long-lasting performance. This is where LIQUI MOLY’s 10 BIKE products come into play. 

“These reliable aids ensure optimal bicycle function and value preservation, much like our motor oils, additives, and care products,” says LIQUI MOLY Managing Director Günter Hiermaier.

The entire product group now boasts a more appealing and modern design. The BIKE Detailer quick paintwork care and the newly designed BIKE Ceramic Chain Spray, which were redesigned a few months ago, have been well-received by consumers. The Ceramic Chain Spray, in particular, offers superior protection against friction and wear for heavily stressed chains and cassettes of bicycles and e-bikes, regardless of weather conditions. Its excellent adhesion reduces spin-off to a minimum, and it provides excellent corrosion protection for metallic components without damaging plastics, paints, or metals.

LIQUI MOLY’s commitment to quality is evident in its partnerships with leading figures in the bicycle industry, such as Oliver Widmann, the reigning German mountain bike champion, and MAGURA, a leading manufacturer of bicycle components. Professional mountain biker Eliott Lapotre also endorses LIQUI MOLY BIKE products.

The company is committed to continuous improvement of its product line, as demonstrated by the soon-to-be-released Wet Lube and Dry Lube chain oils with improved formulas. Furthermore, all products will soon feature expanded booklet languages for better international accessibility.
