Infineum announce new Chief Executive

12 October 2011 – MILTON HILL, UK – Infineum International has announced that Mr Xavier le Mintier will be appointed as Chief Executive Officer, replacing Mr Dominique Fournier who will retire at the end of 2011 after seven years at Infineum.

Xavier joins Infineum from Shell, where he was most recently Executive Vice President for Shell Oil Products Africa, a position he held since 2006. In this role, he had executive responsibility for the full Shell Downstream operation in Africa, covering Retail, Commercial, Supply and Distribution, across 33 countries and 3000 staff. Prior to this he was the Vice President of Shell’s Global Aviation Fuels business, responsible for all operations across 80+ countries. In the course of an extensive and highly international career in Shell over 30 years, he has worked in Shell’s Chemicals, Retail, B2B, Supply and Distribution businesses, in France (at Berre), UK, Asia, Eastern Europe and Africa. He is a graduate Chemical/Oil Refining Engineer from Ecole Superieure de l’Ecole de Chimie Organique et Minerale, and a graduate of l’Ecole des Petroles et Moteurs.

Dominique has led Infineum since 2004. Sven Royall, Chairman, Infineum International commented, “Dominique has brought great vision and leadership to the company over the past 7 years and I would like to thank him very warmly for all that he has done for Infineum”.
