Croda is Britain’s Most Admired Chemical Company
Croda has this month secured fifth place in the 2013 Britain’s Most Admired Companies Awards and was first in the chemical sector.
Now in its 23rd year, the awards offer a unique insight into the components of corporate reputation by recognising key factors critical to business success.
Commenting on the results, Matthew Gwyther, Editor of Management Today who manages the programme said; “This award is designed to recognise the effort, hard-work and dedication of a company to maintaining business excellence. We felt that Croda embodies this accolade and were pleased to present the business with the award.”
Winners are identified by means of peer review; the opinions of Board members from 200 of the UK’s largest companies, as well as analysts and City commentators are collected to celebrate what it takes to be admired in business.
Steve Foots, Chief Executive of Croda said; “This is a terrific achievement for the company and it is particularly pleasing that the award is given by industry peers and the investment community. It is a reflection on the hard work and dedication of all of our employees across the globe.”
The survey covers more than 200 companies scoring them against nine performance areas from quality of management, financial soundness and quality of goods and services, to the ability to attract, develop & retain top talent, the capacity to innovate and commitment to community and environmental responsibility.
