Chevron Oronite to present at the 13th International Lubricants Russia Conference 2017

San Ramon, CA (September 20, 2017) – Chevron Oronite announced that Richard van den Bulk, OEM and industry liaison, European passenger car OEMs, Chevron Oronite Technology B.V., will be speaking at the 13th International Lubricants Russia Conference, which is being held 4-5 October 2017 in Moscow. He will be delivering a presentation titled: “Why are European OEM-approved Oils becoming more important in Russia?” during Session 7 on 5 October 2017 starting at 12:15 p.m.

Engine oils meeting ACEA and OEM-approved lubricant specifications, which are designed for use in European diesel and gasoline engines, are gaining in importance and market share. “We will be comparing and contrasting ACEA and API oils, and explaining why European Manufacturers mandate their OEM approved oils for their newest engine technologies,” said van den Bulk. “In addition, we will be providing an overview of the related European Passenger Car OEM specifications for Russia.”

The 13th International Conference Lubricants Russia 2017 is the leading event in the Russian lubricant industry, as well as at the lubricant market of CIS and Eastern Europe.
