San Ramon, California, USA (May 24, 2016) – Chevron Oronite, a proven leader in additive engine oils for marine, rail and power generation, will be exhibiting and presenting at the CIMAC World Congress 2016 taking place 6-10 June in Helsinki, Finland.

Peter Van Houten, formulator, Marine Lubricant Additives, Chevron Oronite, Netherlands, will present poster N° 81 “Field Performance Evaluation Essential for Lubricant Development” on Thursday, 9 June from 8:30 – 17:00 at the Balcony, 3rd Floor. This poster is included in session N° 10 “Fuels, Lubricants, & Fluid Technologies.” Oronite’s poster demonstrates the importance of conducting extensive lab screening tests, engine tests, and field evaluation to help ensure reliable performance as desired by customers and end-users.  “The field testing step is critical to offer our customers innovative and reliable technology that help meet current market challenges like our latest Marine Trunk Piston Engine Oil additive packages,” says Van Houten.

The event brings together marine, rail and power plant operators and users and will be an exciting opportunity to learn more about the additive solutions Oronite delivers to help meet lubrication needs in these areas.  Oronite will be hosting a booth (N° 2.5) in Finlandia Hall on the 2nd Floor Auditorium Level and welcomes visitors to come speak with one of our representatives.
