Chevron Oronite to present at the 13th ICIS Asian Base Oils & Lubricants Conference 2019

SAN RAMON, Calif., June 10, 2019 – Chevron Oronite announced that Chen Gang, product development manager, Chevron Oronite Beijing International Trading Co. Ltd., will be speaking at the 13th Annual ICIS Asian Base Oils and Lubricants Conference, which is being held June 25-27, 2019 at the Fairmont Hotel in Singapore. Gang will be delivering a presentation on June 26 at 4 p.m. titled “China VI” during the session “Shifting gears: How the implementation of Euro VI equivalents is progressing across Asia.”

“In this presentation, I will share Oronite’s insights into how China VI and China 6 will impact lubricant technologies and the trends toward most updated industry oil categories in China. I will also explain the work that has been accomplished so far to adapt the new emission hardware” said Gang. “To do this, I will compare engine/fleet service data; explain the development of additive and lubricating oil technologies and formulations; explore field performance data from China; provide insights into fuel economy for both heavy-duty and passenger-car applications; and discuss both the challenges and the next steps in the process.”

The Asian Base Oils and Lubricants Conference provides a forum to hear the latest market insights on global and regional base oils and lubricants supply, as well as demand from industry thought-leaders to ensure businesses maintain their position within Asia.
