Call for Papers – NLGI 83rd Annual Meeting
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
International Headquarters – Lee’s Summit, MO – NLGI Announces a Call for Papers for the NLGI 83rd Annual Meeting.
A call is hereby issued for technical papers for presentation at the NLGI 83rd Annual Meeting, which will be held at The Omni Homestead, Hot Springs, VA, USA from June 11th -14th 2016. You do not need to be an NLGI member in order to present a technical paper at our Annual Meeting.
The NLGI 83rd Annual Meeting theme is:
‘Revolutions in Grease – Changing Technology for Changing Times’
Therefore, we would be looking for papers that Challenge the existing way of thinking with:
- New thickeners
- New additives
- New or improved test methods
- New applications
- New or improved manufacturing techniques
- Advances in using bio-based and synthetic base stocks
- All to fit into an ever-changing regulatory environment
Papers covering any other phase of grease chemistry, grease formulation or grease manufacturing technology are also welcomed.
Technical papers approved for presentation at the Annual Meeting may be published in the NLGI Spokesman, after evaluation by the NLGI Editorial Review Committee. The deadline for abstract submission is January 15, 2016.
COMMERCIAL PAPERS: NLGI will also accept up to 4 papers of a commercial nature. One presentation of a commercial paper will be held at the beginning of each of our 4 Technical Sessions during the NLGI Annual Meeting and will not conflict with any other presentations or events. Commercial papers will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. (A fee of $750 will be charged for all commercial papers accepted for presentation.)
