Biofuels International announces location of its most ambitious event yet

Now in its 11th year, the acclaimed Biofuels International Conference and Expo will be taking place in Germany for the very first time.

This year’s conference will be co-located with the International Biogas Congress & Expo as well as the International Biomass Congress & Expo, heralding this series of bio events as its largest gathering yet of bio related companies and, according to the organisers, giving participants, exhibitors and sponsors unrivalled networking opportunities. Peter Patterson, owner of Woodcote Media, publishers of Biofuels International and Bioenergy Insight magazines, states

‘With previous meetings having been in held Ghent, Edinburgh, Rotterdam, Antwerp & Porto, the feedback we received from customers was that Germany would be an ideal location for 2018. As we well know Germany is a firm believer in renewable energy and by combining three bio events under the one roof, namely, biofuels, biogas and biomass, we feel Berlin is the perfect venue.’

Peter goes on to say ‘We hope to build on the success of previous events and will focus on issues that people relate to and at the same time will lead to debate and be thought-provoking.’

Topics covered will include the RED II, biofuels in the transport sector (marine, aviation and the impact of electric vehicles), pricing and trading as well as insights into the bioethanol and biodiesel industries.
