BBS 2015 Ignites New Dream of China Bioenergy Industry

–The 3rd China International Bioenergy and Biomass Utilization Summit is coming

The 2nd China International Bioenergy and Biomass Utilization Summit (BBS 2014) has been successfully held at Great Tang Hotel, Shanghai on April 23rd-24th, 2014. During the two-day summit, BBS 2014 Organizing Committee has brought together about 600 representatives ( scientists, engineers, business leaders and government officials) from domestic and abroad such as China, USA, Canada, Germany, Sweden, Finland,Denmark, Britain, France,Italy, Austria, Greece, Australia, Russia, Japan, Korea,India, Singapore etc..

【New Chapter】
According to the 12th Five Year Plan (2011-2015) on Bioenergy, by the end of 2015, China’s bioenergy production is estimated to exceed 50 million tons of standard coal. The plan has outlined the following targets: Biomass Electricity:13 million kilowatts capacity, Biogas Annual Utilization:22 billion cubic meters, Solid Biomass Fuel Annual Utilization: 10 million tons liquid Biofuels Annual Utilization: 5 million tons. Since this is the last year of 12th Five Year Plan, whether we’ve achieved the goals? How large gap between our current condition and the goals we set before? As we all know, 13th Five Year Plan (2016-2020) is taking shape, our government will put forward more higher goal, we believe it must bring the challenge as well as opportunity to bioenergy person.

As a very important interactice platform,2015 China International Bioenergy and Biomass Utilization Summit (BBS 2015) will be held in Shanghai on May 21st-22nd, 2015. BBS 2015 will become the most influential bioenergy conference in China with about 700 outstanding scientists and entrepreneurs participation.

The topic of BBS 2015 is “Bioenergy: comprehensive utilization and product diversification”, we will continue to discuss the development direction of biomass energy industry in the next five years and the latest scientific research achievements in multi-angle and comprehensive way.
