ASTM Workshop Will Focus on Analysis of Hydrocarbon Types for Naphthas, Jet Fuel and Diesel Fuel Range Streams
W. CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., April 14, 2015—A workshop on State-of-the-Art Analytical Testing Methodologies for Improving the Analysis of Hydrocarbon Types for Naphthas, Jet Fuel and Diesel Fuel Range Streams will be held June 22.
Sponsored by ASTM Committee D02 on Petroleum Products, Liquid Fuels and Lubricants, the workshop will be held at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, in conjunction with the committee’s standards development meetings.
Workshop topics will include techniques using chromatography and/or mass spectrometry etc. (PIONA, GCxGC, MS, GC/MS tec.). Appropriate methodologies may be developed further by ASTM sections to either improve existing ASTM test methods or develop new test methods.
