ASTM Symposium on Environmentally Considerate Lubricants Will Be Held in December

W. CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., September 27, 2013—A symposium on Environmentally Considerate Lubricants will be held Dec. 9, 2013, at the Marriott Tampa in Tampa, Fla. Sponsored by ASTM International Committee D02 on Petroleum Products and Lubricants, the symposium will be held in conjunction with the standards development meetings of the committee.

The general objective of the symposium is to hold a technical forum for discussions related to current trends for environmentally considerate lubricants. It also provides details on current research efforts to advance use of biobased and other environmentally acceptable lubricants, and develop new and improved environment test method and lubrication technology.

Online registration is now open and closes Dec. 4. There is no attendance fee for ASTM members, presenters and students. The fee for non-ASTM members is $50 USD online and $75 USD on site.
