AFPM Statement on House Passage of TSCA Reform
WASHINGTON – The American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM) reacts to passage of the TSCA Modernization Act of 2015 by the U.S. House of Representatives with the following statement from AFPM President Chet Thompson:
Today’s bipartisan House vote is an important step towards the first modernization of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) since it was enacted 40 years ago. AFPM appreciates the bipartisan effort to identify and correct weaknesses in the current statute while ensuring businesses can continue to innovate.”
