Paris, August 27, 2019 – ELF, a brand of Total, is proud to become an official sponsor of The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (The DGR), which annually brings together more than 125,000 “Gentlefolk” on classic and vintage-styled motorcycles, riding in 700 cities in over 100 countries across the globe. On September 29, 2019, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride will again raise funds for, and awareness of, prostate cancer and men’s mental health in support of official charity partner, the Movember Foundation.
Founded in 2012 by Mark Hawwa in Sydney, Australia, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride has raised over US$18.5 million for men’s health to date and has the goal of raising a further US$7 million for the cause in 2019.
All types of classic and vintage motorcycles may enter The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride 2019, including the Café Racer, Brat Styled, Chopper, Scrambler and Classic Scooter. For riders, the dress code is “dashing and dapper.”
