From 12 to 14 January 2016 TAE (Technische Akademie Esslingen e.V.) celebrates the 20th International Colloquium Tribology. For 40 years this colloquium has been Europe’s most important meeting for tribologists from all over the world, a platform for exchange of knowledge and networking between industry and universities.
The scientific programme includes 200 high level presentations from well-known speakers from all over the world. The leading themes Engine Lubrication, Machine Elements, Energy Efficiency, Metalworking Fluids, Condition Monitoring as well as Computational and Nanotribology were covered in 8 parallel sessions over 3 days. The colloquium is supplemented by an exhibition, a poster session and a panel discussion on Water Soluble Metal Working Fluids.
The day before the colloquium (Monday, 11 January) there is the opportunity to book a Pre-Seminar on “Advanced Tribology and Lubrication of Engine Components” by Peter M. Lee.
An optional excursion to a Daimler plant near Stuttgart is scheduled for Friday, 15 January. Detailed information on the colloquium and online registration can be found at www.tae.de/tribology.
We are looking forward to meeting you in January at TAE.
