
Turanli succeeds Faber as CEO of Shell & Turcas Petrol A.S.
After five years as CEO of Shell & Turcas Petrol A.S., a joint venture of Shell and Turcas Holding in Turkey/Istanbul, Felix Faber has been appointed general manager of Shell Trading & Supply for Europe and Africa. Emre Turanli succeeds Faber as CEO of Shell & Turcas effective June 1.
Shell & Turcas Petrol A.S. is the leading energy solutions provider in Turkey and the tenth largest company in the country.
Turanlı, who is the first Turkish appointed to this post, was general manager of Shell Fleet Solutions in Europe and South Africa, responsible for 21 countries, since 2018. Turanli began his career at Shell in 2003 as a financial analyst in Germany. After graduating from Robert College and Boğaziçi University, Turanlı received an MBA from Manchester Business School.

Faber started his professional career at Shell in 1999. He has almost 20 years of experience in energy, working in global, regional and local roles in businesses such as Retail, Shipping, Fuels and Lubricants. He served as senior manager in sales, marketing and strategy in Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Faber holds an Executive MBA in Marketing from ISH Academy Hamburg, followed by executive leadership education at INSEAD.
