ExxonMobil to supply Nissan’s aftermarket engine oils in India
ExxonMobil Lubricants has gained Nissan Motor India’s aftermarket engine oil business in India. Under their partnership, ExxonMobil will supply an extensive range of engine oils that meet India’s latest Bharat Stage VI (BS-VI) standards, as well as older standards such as BS-III or BS-IV, to Nissan Motor India’s service network nationwide.
“This partnership adds to our continuous efforts to provide consumers with technologically superior and advanced formulated lubricants for their vehicles to keep them performing at their best,” said Deepankar Banerjee, CEO, ExxonMobil Lubricants in India.
The products – Nissan Genuine Parts Motor Oil SAE 0W-20, 5W-30, 10W-30, 10W-40 – include synthetic and semi-synthetic engine oils that were developed by ExxonMobil’s global research and development center.
These so-called “genuine” engine oils became available at Nissan service networks in India beginning April 1.
“This collaboration reiterates our commitment of providing the most advanced technologies to our discerning Indian customers. The partnership with ExxonMobil is a major step in our effort towards this journey,” said Rakesh Srivastava, managing director, Nissan Motor India.
