ExxonMobil leadership update: Matt Crocker succeeds Karen McKee
ExxonMobil has announced a leadership transition, with Karen T. McKee set to retire following a distinguished 34-year career. She currently serves as president of ExxonMobil Product Solutions Company and vice president of Exxon Mobil Corporation. Her retirement becomes effective on 1 May 2025.
In her place, Matt Crocker has been appointed president of ExxonMobil Product Solutions Company and vice president of the corporation. Crocker, who joined the company in 1995 at the Fawley Refinery in the UK, brings a wealth of operational and leadership experience spanning ExxonMobil’s Low Carbon Solutions, Product Solutions, and Upstream businesses.
Crocker has also held key roles across refining and chemical operations in Baytown, Texas and Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in the United States and in Fawley. Most recently, he has served as president of Global Business Solutions since 2023.
Darren W. Woods, CEO of ExxonMobil, remarked: “We thank Karen for her long-standing service to the company. In her more than three decades with the company, she’s made significant contributions to ExxonMobil in a wide range of roles across our Downstream and Chemical businesses.”
ExxonMobil, which is headquartered in Spring, Texas, U.S.A., remains one of the world’s largest integrated energy and petrochemical companies. Its business segments—Upstream, Product Solutions, and Low Carbon Solutions—provide essential products including fuels, lubricants, and chemicals, while progressing toward net-zero emissions for operated assets by 2050.
