ALIA Annual Meeting & Global Leadership Summit

Conference Theme: Sustainability of Lubricants The Asian Lubricants Industry Association (ALIA), formerly the Asian Lubricant Manufacturers Union (ALMU), announced that its 2021 Annual Meeting & Global Leadership Summit will be held virtually due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The ALIA Annual Meeting kicks off on March 9, at 4 PM SGT, with a keynote presentation by Dr. Mathias Woydt, Managing Director of MATRILUB, from Berlin, Germany. Dr. Woydt is the vice-president of the German Society for Tribology. He has more than 33 years of experience in R&D and has published more than 280 publications and filed 51 priority patents. His keynote presentation is entitled “The Importance of Lubricants and Tribology in Reducing CO2 Emissions and Achieving Sustainability Goals." The keynote address will be followed by a discussion from a panel of distinguished industry experts. Moderating the panel discussion will be Dr. T.C.S.M. Gupta, Chairman of ALIA’s Technology Subcommittee and Senior Vice President, Quality, R&D, and Technical, Apar Industries, Ltd.

Joe has also been recognized as a Certified Lubricating Grease Specialist by NLGI.
