Energizer and Assurance Intl. launch new STP lubricants in Asia

Energizer Holdings Inc. and Assurance Intl. Limited have announced the launch of a new line of STP-branded automotive products, set to hit the market later this month. 

Energizer Holdings, Inc., based in St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A., is a leading global manufacturer of primary batteries and portable lighting products. Its renowned brands include Energizer, EVEREADY, Rayovac, and VARTA. The company also designs and markets automotive fragrance and appearance products under brands like A/C Pro, Armor All, and STP®.

Assurance Intl Limited, a part of the Satya Group, is headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana, India. The company is a prominent player in the automotive industry, specialising in the manufacturing and marketing of lubricants, batteries, filters, accessories, and spare parts. They operate in more than 60 countries, including regions across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East

The products will be sourced, manufactured, and distributed in India to complement the existing STP product portfolio in multiple territories and countries. 

The licensing collaboration will see the production and distribution of a full range of lubricants and oils, as well as automotive filters and batteries, across multiple countries in the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and Africa regions.

The newly introduced STP lubricants, including automotive engine oils, CNG engine oils, transmission oils, and hydraulic oils, feature advanced additives designed to enhance protection against wear, corrosion, and deposits, ultimately improving fuel economy and extending engine life. Alongside the lubricants, the product line will also include air, cabin, oil, and fuel filters, as well as batteries and inverters for various automotive and household applications.
