ENEOS introduces passenger car motor oils in the Philippines
ENEOS has launched its complete line-up of lubricants for both passenger cars and motorcycles recently in the Philippines at the 2022 InsideRacing Performance and Lifestyle Expo at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, in Metro Manila.
ENEOS began selling motorcycle lubricants in the Philippines in 2019. ENEOS’ entry into the passenger car motor oil (PCMO) market is a big step for the Japanese energy company. In the future, the company plans to introduce more products such as fluids for both CVTw and automatic transmissions, diesel engine oils for trucks and bus fleet customers, hydraulic and compressor oils for industrial use, and even lubricants for electric vehicles (EVs). In addition, the company also plans to put up a lubricant blending facility in the country as part of its growth plans.
“The Philippines is one of our strategic target countries for our lubricants business. We see a lot of potential for growth given the large potential market, the country’s positive economic outlook, and the good reputation of Japanese brands among Filipinos,” said Kazusama Imai, president of ENEOS Philippines Corporation (ENEPH).
ENEOS lubricants, which can deliver exceptional performance, long-term protection, and optimum fuel economy, are borne from continuous innovation with Japan’s leading automakers, race teams, and vehicle engineers.
ENEOS offers synthetic motor oils for both gasoline- and diesel-powered cars, high-performance synthetic motor oils for gasoline and diesel engines, as well as conventional mineral oil-based lubricants for gasoline and diesel engines.
For the motorcycle segment, the company offers a high-performance synthetic motorcycle oil for racing, a synthetic blend for all types of 4-stroke engines, a synthetic automatic scooter oil and scooter gear oil, and mineral oil-based motorcycle oils for all kinds of 4-stroke engines.
