Brief Description:
Pertamina is Indonesia’s
integrated state-owned oil
and gas company with
businesses in oil, gas,
petrochemical and geothermal
energy. Pertamina processing
units operate six refineries,
with a total capacity of
1,046.70
thousand barrels.
The oil refinery in processing
Unit IV Cilacap, produces
Group I & II HVI-60, HVI-95,
HVI-1605, HVI-160 B and
HVI-650 base oils. The lube
base oil is then delivered
to the Lube Oil Blending Plant
(
LOBP) in Pertamina’s blending
plants in Jakarta, Surabaya,
and Cilacap to produce
lubricants. Since April 2008,
Pertamina, in cooperation
with SK energy of South Korea,
has produced Group III from
the LBO Plant’s Refining Unit
II in Dumai. Lube base oil
produced is 100-N.
