Crystal Clean acquisition expands waste management network
Crystal Clean, Inc., a leading provider of environmental and industrial services, has expanded its presence on the U.S. West Coast with the acquisition of Worldwide Recovery Systems, Inc. (WRS) and its subsidiary, YES Management, Inc., trading as Yuma Environmental Services (YES).
Based in Pomona, California, WRS specialises in waste collection, transportation, and disposal services across California and Arizona. Its operations also include lab packing, oil filter processing, and field services. Meanwhile, YES operates a non-hazardous waste transfer station in Yuma, Arizona.

Following the acquisition, Crystal Clean now operates more than 130 service branches, industrial facilities, and waste recovery centres across the continental United States. The company’s waste recovery network includes an advanced oil re-refinery, multiple wastewater treatment and non-hazardous waste processing plants, antifreeze recycling centres, and a newly added hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal facility.
