Chevron Sri Lanka unveils Caltex Delo 400 MGX engine oil in Sri Lanka

Chevron Sri Lanka has unveiled its latest premium diesel engine oil, Caltex Delo 400 MGX SAE 15W-40, to address commercial vehicle requirements, while meeting stringent emissions regulations.

This new advanced formula Caltex Delo 400 MGX SAE 15W-40 delivers excellent soot dispersancy, wear protection and sludge control, while also reducing oil consumption.

The new engine oil formulation will benefit both new and old diesel engines and allow customers to use the same engine oil in vehicles using both high- and low-sulphur diesel fuels.

“The Caltex Delo product range includes lubricants that provide the utmost protection, performance and bottom-line value for on-and off-road diesel powered equipment. Delo-branded products are used in automotive as well as in all major heavy industries such as commercial transportation, construction, agriculture and power generation,” said Eenaz Salie, marketing manager, Chevron Sri Lanka.

Caltex Delo 400 MGX has demonstrated exceptional performance capability in neutralising harmful acids and retaining alkalinity during extended-drain operations in both high- and low-sulphur diesel fuel environments during field testing using diesel fuel containing up to 5,000 parts per million (ppm) sulphur.

Caltex Delo 400 MGX uses Chevron’s ISOSYN Technology in top-tier Delo products. ISOSYN technology combines premium base oils with high-performance additives to provide excellent protection at a competitive price.

Caltex Delo 400 MGX SAE 15W-40 is currently available in 210-litre drums and in five-litre cans, through Caltex authorised channel partners.
