Chevron partners with Finke for exclusive Texaco Lubricants distribution in Germany
Chevron has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Finke Mineralölwerk GmbH for Texaco-branded lubricants in Germany. Starting September 1, 2024, Finke will become the sole distributor of Texaco’s full range of products across Germany, marking a significant step forward for both companies.
Jürgen Ulmer, managing director of Chevron Germany, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “Our exclusive agreement with Finke is a first for the Texaco brand in this key lubricant market.”
Over the past six years, Finke has been a reliable partner in Germany, Ulmer said, consistently demonstrating a strong understanding of the market sectors and a dedicated commitment to customer service.
Finke Mineralölwerk GmbH is a German company that specialises in the production and distribution of lubricants, oils, and other related products. Established in 1884, the company has a long history in the mineral oil industry and is known for producing high-quality lubricants for a variety of applications, including automotive, industrial, and agricultural sectors.
A part of the Hoyer Group, Finke will manage the distribution from its headquarters in Visselhövede, utilising its extensive network of approximately 70 regional Hoyer sales offices across Germany. Thomas Hinze, managing director at Finke, highlighted the importance of the partnership, noting, “The global halo-effect of the brand is a door opener for us. We know that we can rely on the latest product developments, required by the different industries, enriched with best-in-class service. Finke has never before agreed on such a partnership, but we are convinced that we have made the right decision.”
Texaco’s product portfolio includes a wide range of lubricants and coolants for various sectors, including automotive, industrial, and marine applications. The products are marketed in Europe under well-known brands like Havoline®, Delo®, HDAX®, and Techron®.
