Castrol launches MAGNATEC 0W-20 GSX/DSX for Stellantis engines

Castrol has unveiled its latest engine oil innovation, MAGNATEC 0W-20 GSX/DSX, specifically formulated to enhance wear protection for a wide range of Stellantis vehicles. The new lubricant is the first to meet both the Fiat 9.55535-GSX and Fiat 9.55535-DSX specifications, which cover Euro 6 petrol and diesel engines.

Designed for demanding modern driving conditions, Castrol MAGNATEC 0W-20 GSX/DSX offers exceptional wear protection by clinging to critical engine components like a magnet. It locks in place to provide 50% better engine wear protection compared to industry standards. This safeguard extends to vital parts such as the valvetrain, timing chain, pistons, and bearings, especially during city driving, where 75% of engine wear typically occurs.

The lubricant is compatible with Fiat MultiJet AdBlue engines, such as those in the Fiat 500L, 500X, Tipo, Doblo, Jeep Compass, and Renegade, and is suitable for Alfa Romeo models like the Giulietta, Giulia, and Stelvio. Additionally, the product aligns with ACEA C5 and C6 specifications, reinforcing its versatility and adherence to European industry standards.

Available in a variety of pack sizes, including 208-litre and 60-litre drums and smaller 5-litre and 1-litre bottles, Castrol MAGNATEC 0W-20 GSX/DSX is now accessible to workshops across the UK.
