CARSOME and PETRONAS AutoExpert expand aftersales services in Malaysia
CARSOME Group Inc, Southeast Asia’s largest integrated car e-commerce platform, has announced a strategic partnership with PETRONAS AutoExpert to enhance aftersales services across Malaysia. This collaboration marks a significant step in building a comprehensive automotive ecosystem that extends beyond car sales to include robust aftersales support.
Under the partnership, PETRONAS AutoExpert became the Official Panel Workshop for CARSOME. The collaboration introduces aftersales services at 15 PETRONAS AutoExpert locations, complementing CARSOME’s existing service centres in Ampang and Petaling Jaya. Customers can now conveniently book maintenance services or vehicle inspections through CARSOME’s app or website, making high-quality care accessible nationwide.
To further strengthen this initiative, CARSOME Academy, an accredited automotive training institution, will collaborate with PETRONAS AutoExpert on the Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) TVET Apprenticeship Program. This programme focuses on upskilling and reskilling technicians, ensuring compliance with Malaysian standards while addressing the industry’s evolving needs.
The partnership also introduces CARSOME inspection points at selected PETRONAS AutoExpert locations, providing a seamless solution for areas without nearby CARSOME inspection centres. This move benefits PETRONAS AutoExpert operators by creating a new revenue stream and enhancing their business model.
