opportunities, attended PROPEL with the goal of partnering or funding
their energy technology businesses. The 2018 event saw the addition of a
technology stream focused on Distributed Power, with three presenting
companies showcased and a host of thought leaders exploring the
opportunity landscape, including representatives from ENMAX, ATCO,
Decentralised Energy Canada, Kinetica Ventures and more.

The PROPEL 2018 theme focused on Reinventing Technology Adoption in the
Energy Sector, which was highlighted throughout the sessions. Both

theme and also discussed closing innovation gaps, breakthrough
innovation, transformative industry solutions, and technology disruption
as a means for that reinvention.

"PROPEL is a first-class forum and we were delighted to participate. The
mix of networking with venture capitalists, the exciting pitch
competition and learning from fellow innovators is invaluable for
companies like VEERUM. I’d highly recommend the forum for anyone working
to create the energy industry of the future." – Steve Fisher, CEO, VEERUM
