Save on Your Energy Costs with a Smart Thermostat from Dayton Power and Light
DAYTON, Ohio–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The Dayton Power and Light Company (DP&L), a subsidiary of The AES
Corporation (NYSE: AES), is making it easy for its residential customers
to “Be a Savings Champion” when it comes to energy costs. DP&L customers
are eligible for a limited-time offer from Nest that saves you money now
and also on your energy bills.
From June 29 to July 8, Nest is offering customers $50 off, in addition
to the $75 rebate from DP&L. Vectren is also offering a $75 rebate for
their customers. With the starting price of a Nest thermostat valued at
$249, that means the combined discounts reduce the price to $49.
The $50 discount from Nest is scheduled to end July 8, but the DP&L and
Vectren rebates will continue beyond July 8, while funding lasts.
Smart thermostats help reduce energy use and lower monthly bills. They
adapt to your family’s lifestyle, which keeps your home more comfortable
and reduces the heat or air conditioning during the periods when no one
is home to avoid wasting energy. Additionally, smart thermostats are
connected to the internet, so you can monitor and adjust your home’s
temperature from a smartphone, tablet or laptop.
