ProAmpac’s 2017 Award Wins Highlight its Focus on Quality & Innovation

CINCINNATI–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#GoldInkAwards–ProAmpac returned to PACK EXPO Las Vegas this week, showcasing product
innovations, and expanded capabilities, as well as multiple industrial
awards received during the past year.

Since last year’s PACK EXPO, ProAmpac has become one of the fastest
growing flexible packaging manufacturers in the United States: five
acquisitions, a total of 25 manufacturing facilities, 3,200 employees,
new ownership by Pritzker Group Private Capital, and an elevated ranking
as one of the 10 largest packaging converters in the nation.

In the same period, ProAmpac received 22 awards in multiple competitions.

“During a time of strategic expansion, these awards reinforce our
unwavering commitment to quality and innovation,” said Adam Grose, Chief
Commercial Officer.

“Thanks to the organizations bestowing the awards. Thanks to our
employees for going above and beyond. And most of all thanks to our
customers for giving us the opportunity to serve them and provide
innovative products to build their business.”

Recent Awards

ProAmpac won seven total awards in the Gold
Ink Awards
competition sponsored by Printing Impressions, the
industry’s most prestigious print competition. One Bronze and six Pewter
awards were received for print in the Flexible Packaging category. New
technologies with inks and substrates were presented for several
ProAmpac wins for pouches submitted.

Last month, the packagePRINTING
Excellence Awards
won Best of Show from among nearly 200 entries,
and First Place in the Flexible Packaging: Flexo printing process
category. According to packagePRINTING judge Bill Enright, “This
entry…was printed exceptionally well on a very difficult substrate. It
featured very clean printing with very tight registration… and depicted
a vivid, almost 3D, lifelike appearance.” The pouch was featured as the
cover story of packagePRINTING magazine’s August
issue
.

A recent win for ProAmpac was from among the World
Beverage Innovation Awards
sponsored by FoodBev Media and hosted by
drinktec. ProAmpac received first place in the Best Sports or Fitness
Drink category for its EZY Pro10, a custom shaped, spouted, stand-up
pouch with a unique shape that fits perfectly fits in the hand of the
consumer. EZY Pro 10 is pre-filled with 30g of protein powder. The
end-user fills the pouch with 230ml of water at the point of use and
shakes to combine the powder before consuming.
