Priority Provides Integrated Electric Delivery and Supply Solution to Tex-Isle Supply, Inc.

A new high voltage substation and primary distribution system,
coupled with electricity supply management services delivers cost and
time savings

MIDLAND, Texas & ARLINGTON, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#PriorityPower–Priority Power Management, LLC (“Priority”), a Texas-based leading
independent energy management and consulting services firm, announced
today that it has successfully implemented an integrated electric
delivery and supply solution for Tex-Isle Supply, Inc.’s (“Tex-Isle”)
new state of the art processing facility in Robstown, Texas.

When Tex-Isle looked to build a new state of the art, fully integrated
heat treating facility, they were faced with challenges in obtaining
adequate electrical capacity from the local electric utility in a timely
and cost effective manner. Tex-Isle turned to Priority to evaluate
options that would achieve its financial and operational goals.

Priority developed economic business case models to evaluate a
combination of scenarios, including a utility provided secondary or
primary distribution system versus a private Tex-Isle owned electric
delivery system. The economic analysis considered estimated upfront
capital costs, ongoing operation and maintenance costs, and applicable
published electric tariff rates. Based on Priority’s analysis, Tex-Isle
decided to request transmission level service from the utility, and
construct its own private electric high voltage (“EHV”) substation and
underground primary distribution system (collectively, the “Robstown
System”).

Tex-Isle retained Priority to implement an integrated energy solution
that included (1) interfacing with the local electric utility and
negotiating an acceptable transmission interconnect agreement, (2)
full turnkey engineering, procurement and construction services for
development of the Robstown System, and (3) supply side
management services to procure and manage the competitive retail
electricity supply to be used by the Robstown System.

The Robstown System consists of an EHV substation with 15/25 MVA of
capacity and an underground looped primary distribution system with
padmounted switchgear and transformers serving seven (7) different load
centers throughout the facility, and will allow for future expansion.

“One of the biggest challenges we faced in planning for the Robstown
facility was power,” said Curtis Kayem, President of Tex-Isle Supply,
Inc. “The service options presented by the utility were costly and would
take a considerable amount of time to complete. Priority developed and
implemented a solution that saved us both time and money. Equally as
important, they delivered on their promises and provided exceptional
service focused on our needs.”

“We are very appreciative of the opportunity to provide integrated
electric delivery and supply side management services to Tex-Isle,” said
John J. Bick, managing principal of Priority. “It is especially
gratifying to work with such a fine organization that holds core values
of integrity, honesty and dedication to customers, which is what we
strive for everyday at Priority.”
