Monsanto Board Designates Record and Meeting Dates for Next Annual Meeting of Shareowners; Approves Dividend of 54 Cents Per Share

ST. LOUIS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Monsanto Company (NYSE: MON) announced that its Board of Directors has
set Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018, as the date of the next annual meeting of
shareowners. The board also declared a quarterly dividend on its common
stock of 54 cents per share. The dividend relates to the company’s first
quarter of its 2018 fiscal year and is payable on January 26, 2018, to
shareowners of record on January 5, 2018.

Monsanto’s annual meeting will be held at the company’s global R&D
headquarters in Chesterfield, Mo. Additional meeting details will be
included in the company’s proxy statement, which will be available later
in December. The record date for Monsanto’s annual meeting of
shareowners is Friday, Dec. 15, 2017.
