MOGAS Announces New VP Operations and Director of QHSE
HOUSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–MOGAS Industries, Inc. (MOGAS)
announced today the appointment of Jose Osuna as vice president of
operations, who will assume duties and responsibilities previously
performed by the vice president of manufacturing, Sam Furman, who will
retire after an advisory transition period.
In this senior leadership position, Mr. Osuna will oversee the company’s
manufacturing processes and costs to ensure that MOGAS’
best-in-class work flow optimization delivers to MOGAS customers the
value they expect.
Mr. Osuna comes to MOGAS from TechnipFMC, where he was the vice
president of well completion systems. His success in operations
excellence twice earned him the Chairman’s Award—the highest award given
by the corporation globally.

With the upcoming retirement of MOGAS Director of Quality, Hashimali
Merchant, MOGAS announces the hiring of Dragos Oprea, who will assume
the responsibilities in quality and export compliance functions, as well
as the company’s health, safety and environmental (HSE) programs and
initiatives.
Mr. Oprea previously held positions of vice president of quality and HSE
at ShawCor – Flexpipe Systems, and as director of corporate quality
assurance at New Process Steel. He has global experience with a wide
variety of suppliers and customers in manufacturing and service
industries, e.g., automotive, energy, oil & gas.
