Malcolm Fabiyi, Ph.D., Joins Drylet as Chief Operations Officer

Global expert in wastewater treatment technology will accelerate
Drylet’s market momentum

HOUSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Drylet is proud to welcome Dr. Malcolm Fabiyi as its Chief Operations
Officer and Vice President of Operations, effective immediately. As COO,
Dr. Fabiyi will play instrumental roles in continuing to develop
Drylet’s proprietary bioremediation technology and expanding the
company’s presence in international wastewater and biosolid reduction
markets.

“Dr. Fabiyi’s understanding of so many technologies in municipal and
industrial wastewater treatment make him an ideal fit for Drylet and an
invaluable addition to our team,” said Drylet President and CEO Luka
Erceg. “We are excited for Dr. Fabiyi to begin working with new and
existing customers to reduce biosolids pollution and drive
high-performance outcomes in wastewater plants.”

Dr. Fabiyi earned a First-Class degree in Chemical Engineering from the
University of Lagos, a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University
of Cambridge and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of
Business.

Dr. Fabiyi brings diverse professional experience to Drylet. He started
out his career as a management and strategy consultant at McKinsey &
Company, and for the past decade has been contributing his expertise at
the highest levels in corporate research and the development and
management of environmental technology solutions, including wastewater
treatment. He has worked and lived in several geographies in Africa and
North America.

“Drylet’s solution is a key reason for my decision to join the Drylet
team.”

“Drylet’s biocatalyst technology platform has the potential to
revolutionize the water and wastewater industry,” Dr. Fabiyi said. “I
look forward to driving the rollout of this leading-edge technology that
can help facilities optimize operations and enhance resource recovery,
while reducing biosolids generation. I have seen firsthand the extent of
the biosolids problem, from rural villages in the developing world to
urban centers in the U.S., and Drylet’s natural, low-cost and
low-environmental impact solution to that problem is the most compelling
that I’ve encountered; it is a key reason for my decision to join the
Drylet team.”

In his role as COO and Vice President of Operations at Drylet, Dr.
Fabiyi will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the
business. He will take responsibility for driving sales, marketing and
business development efforts in the U.S. market; lead new product
development activities; manage Drylet’s growing technology platform; and
drive product extension into new markets.

Prior to joining Drylet, Dr. Fabiyi was Global Market Director at
Praxair, Inc., a Fortune 500 company where he led technology development
and commercialization efforts across a range of market segments —
including water and wastewater, pulp and paper, hydrometallurgy and
textiles — that generated over $250 million in annual revenues. Most
recently, he served as the president of Hydromantis, USA, the
environmental software solutions provider that developed the world's
premier wastewater treatment plant simulation and optimization
application, GPS-X™.

Dr. Fabiyi has extensive expertise in technology commercialization and
global experience serving clients in the municipal and industrial
wastewater treatment markets. He has authored over 50 journal and
