Light Polymers Extends Relationship with Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI)

(ITRI) announced today that they will extend their relationship and sign
new agreements.
“We’re excited to continue working with ITRI,” said Marc McConnaughey, President and CEO of Light Polymers. “ITRI provided us a base in Taiwan, establishing Light Polymers’ first Application Center in Asia in 2014. Innovating nanochemistry applications requires patience and diligence and our Taiwan team, working closely with our California team, has been a critical part of accelerating the implementation of our nanochemistry in a number of breakthrough applications by using the facilities and resources available through ITRI.”

Light Polymers conducted extensive application and commercialization research on the use of lyotropic materials in LED lighting, LCD and OLED displays, building materials and in the biomedical field. Light Polymers OLED chemistry is now in trial stages with a number of potential commercialization partners while Light Polymers’ debut LED lighting products are rolling out in select Asia markets in August and September.
