Kocide LLC Acquisition of DuPont Copper Fungicide Facility in Houston Finalized, Ensuring High Quality Production of Agriculture’s Well Known Kocide® Disease Control Products to Continue Undisrupted

COLUMBIA, Md.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Kocide LLC has completed its acquisition of a state-of-the-art copper
fungicide production facility in Houston, Texas, from E.I. Du Pont de
Nemours and Company (“DuPont”). The acquisition of the facility began
December 1, 2014 when Mitsui & Co., Ltd (“Mitsui”) acquired DuPont’s
Kocide® and ManKocide® copper fungicide assets for Kocide LLC, Mitsui’s
wholly owned subsidiary, to manage the assets.

Glen Johnson, Kocide LLC President and CEO, said, “We now control the
production of our products from raw ingredient to finished goods, which
ensures our customers receive the highest quality copper based
fungicide/bactericide products on the market.

wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsui, which manufactures and markets
leading copper fungicide brands across Europe, the Middle East, Africa

Germany.
