Hunsucker Goodstein Signs Distinguished Former EPA Counsel
WASHINGTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Hunsucker Goodstein PC today announced the addition of environmental
attorney, Dana
J. Stotsky, as Senior Counsel. Mr. Stotsky is a seasoned regulatory
attorney and litigator whose practice is focused on counseling and
representation before federal and state agencies and the Courts on
environmental matters for a wide range of private and public clients
including issues related to oil and gas, pesticides, and toxic
substances.

Mr. Stotskyโs extensive experience includes a distinguished career as an
enforcement attorney with the United States Environmental Protection
Agency (โEPAโ), including special assignments with a large Native
American tribe assisting on uranium remediation sites, and oil and gas
compliance work involving the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Alaska.
Earlier in his career, he clerked for the Water Law Judge in Greeley,
Colorado and was a staff attorney for the Colorado General Assembly. Mr.
Stotsky provides environmental compliance counseling and representation
to firm clients in administrative enforcement actions involving air,
water and hazardous substances regulatory programs as well as
representation on environmental related claims. He previously negotiated
one of the largest Supplemental Environmental Projects ever accepted in
a federal civil settlement ($82 million for installation of air
pollution control equipment under the Clean Air Act in U.S. v. Public
Service Co. of Colorado) and the largest penalty collected under
RCRA in an EPA administrative proceeding (In the Matter of:ย Coors
Brewing Company). He also regularly served as an instructor in trial
practice, negotiations and inspector training for EPAโs National
Enforcement Training Center.
