Graña y Montero Announces New Chairman of the Risks, Compliance and Sustainability Committee

LIMA, Peru–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Graña y Montero S.A.A. (NYSE:GRAM) (BVL:GRAMONC1) (“the Company” or
“Graña y Montero”) announced that the Risks, Compliance and
Sustainability Committee of the Graña y Montero Group has a new
chairman. As of January 25, Mr. Alfonso de Orbegoso Baraybar assumed
this important role. Mr. de Orbegoso is a lawyer from Pontificia
Universidad Catolica del Peru and holds a master's degree from Duke
University School of Law, as well as specialized courses at the London
School of Economics, and at Georgetown University. He has served as a
partner of the Ludowieg, Andrade & Asociados law firm, and as Legal and
Regulatory Affairs Vice President at Nextel del Peru.

On January 25, the departure of Mr. Rafael Venegas Vidaurre as a member
and chairman of the Risks, Compliance and Sustainability, and the
appointment of Mr. Alfonso de Orbegoso Baraybar as his replacement, were
announced. It is worth mentioning that Mr. de Orbegoso was already part
of the aforementioned committee.

The committee, which since its inception has been comprised of
independent directors, will continue to guarantee a correct risk
assessment for partnerships and future projects of the company. With the
departure of Mr. Venegas, strictly for medical reasons and given the
burden generated by his multiple functions, the committee will now be
formed by Mr. Alfonso de Orbegoso as chairman, as well as by Augusto
Baertl Montori, Pedro Pablo Errázuriz and Manuel del Río Jiménez.

The company thanks Mr. Venegas for his commitment and dedication in
charge of the chairmanship of the Risks, Compliance and Sustainability
Committee throughout these 10 months of persevering work, and wishes Mr.
de Orbegoso many successes in his future management.

of the Board of Directors of the Graña y Montero Group, where he has
been having an active participation.
