Global Nuclear Fuel Awarded $250 Million-Plus Contract to Fuel Entergy Nuclear Boiling Water Reactors

• Long-term agreement extends GNFÔÇÖs fueling of Entergy NuclearÔÇÖs

WILMINGTON, N.C.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Global Nuclear Fuel (GNF) today announced that it has been awarded a
long-term contract by Entergy Nuclear to continue to fuel its boiling
water reactors.

The new fuel supply contract, valued at more than $250 million, runs
from 2019 through 2031 and includes 10 reloads of GNF3. Entergy will be
the first customer to take delivery of GNF3 in reload quantities.

Based on advanced technology developed by GNF, the GNF3 fuel assembly is
designed to offer customers improved fuel cycle economics, increased
performance and flexibility in operation and further improve on the
reliability of GNFÔÇÖs previous product lines.

GNF3 lead use assemblies have been operating in several U.S. nuclear
power plants, including four lead use assemblies in EntergyÔÇÖs River Bend
Nuclear Station in St. Francisville, Louisiana since 2015.

In 2019, EntergyÔÇÖs River Bend nuclear facility will become the first
plant in which GNF3 will be installed in reload quantities. GNF3 will be
installed in reload quantities at Grand Gulf Nuclear Station in Port
Gibson, Mississippi, in 2020. GNF has fueled EntergyÔÇÖs Grand Gulf and
River Bend reactors continuously since 2008.

GNF3 is fabricated with GNFÔÇÖs latest technology at the companyÔÇÖs
state-of-the-art facility in Wilmington, North Carolina.
