Gasoducto Sur Peruano and Ministry of Energy and Mines Sign an Agreement for the Delivery of the Project Assets
LIMA, Peru–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Graña y Montero S.A.A. (NYSE:GRAM) (BVL:GRAMONC1) (“the Company” or
“Graña y Montero”) a leading Engineering and Construction company,
announced that on October 11, 2017 an agreement for the delivery of the
assets of the Peruvian Southern Gas Pipeline concession was signed
between the concessionaire company and the Ministry of Energy and Mines
(MEM).
By virtue of this act, GSP will deliver -as possession- the assets to
the administrator appointed by MEM for custody and conservation. The
mentioned assets include all the works, equipment and facilities
provided for the execution of the project, as well as the engineering
studies that were elaborated by the concessionaire company.
Luis Diaz Olivero, Chief Executive Officer of Graña y Montero Group,
mentioned he was "satisfied with the agreement, since it is an important
step to achieve the continuity of a strategic project for Peru."
