Exelon Statement on Passage of New Jersey Zero Emissions Certificate Program

CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Exelon Corporation (NYSE: EXC) today issued the following statement
following New Jersey Governor Phil MurphyÔÇÖs decision to sign a zero
emissions certificate program into law:

leadership role in recognizing the environmental value of the stateÔÇÖs
nuclear fleet, advancing other clean energy policies and putting New
Jersey on a path to achieve its carbon emissions goals by signing into
law a package of legislation that will help to preserve 90 percent of
New JerseyÔÇÖs carbon-free power, protect 5,800 jobs and save residents
