Anbaric Development Partners Announces Soam Goel Joins as Partner
WAKEFIELD, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Anbaric Development Partners, an Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP)
platform company, announced today that Soam Goel has joined the company
as a Partner leading Special Situations.
In his role at Anbaric Development Partners, Soam will pursue
investments in transmission and microgrid infrastructure projects
currently under development, campus energy infrastructure, and existing
energy infrastructure that can be transformed through significant
capital investments.

Soam has a unique background in the power infrastructure that combines
his experience with utilities, private equity, and hedge funds as a
consultant and as a developer. Prior to Anbaric Development Partners, he
was the Chief Commercial Officer of Power Network New Mexico, a wholly
owned subsidiary of Goldman Sachs Global Infrastructure Fund (GSIP),
where he was responsible for the overall profitability, regulatory
filings, customers and markets, and the commercial success of the
project. In 2004, he founded Enersights to provide strategic advice to
senior executives of utility companies and financial participants. Prior
to that, he spent 10 years with PA Consulting and its predecessor firms,
where he co-headed the energy M&A practice.
