BASF receives TOP TIER™ Diesel approval for Keropur® DP detergent technology
BASF has received approval for its Keropur® DP detergent technology in the recently launched TOP TIER™ Diesel standard.
The TOP TIER Diesel standard was created by manufacturers of diesel engines. It provides cleaner and higher fuel quality to help modern diesel engines run efficiently and stay running at their designed performance levels.
“Many fuel marketers have realised the benefits of TOP TIER Gasoline. The TOP TIER Diesel program will similarly raise diesel fuel quality and provide a recognised standard to differentiate from lower quality fuels,” said Brian Lieberman, vice president, BASF Fuel and Lubricant Solutions. “BASF makes it a priority to provide our customers with sustainable solutions in the dynamic environment of fuel standards and complex engine designs.”
