ATIEL appoints Piccinni as its new secretary general

The Technical Association of the European Lubricants Industry (ATIEL), which represents leading European and international engine oil manufacturers and marketers, announced the appointment of Eleonora Piccinni as its new secretary general.

“We are absolutely delighted to welcome Eleonora Piccinni to ATIEL.  Her long standing experience as association manager, work  on technical matters, stakeholder relations and communication will be  a crucial asset for our organisation.” said ATIEL President Marco Digioia.

Piccinni joins ATIEL from Orgalim, which represents Europe’s technology industries at the EU level. At Orgalim, Piccinni was manager of Internal Market Technical  Regulation. Before Orgalim, she was the representative in Brussels, Belgium, for the French  mechanical industries.  

“I thank ATIEL Board of Directors and General  Assembly for their confidence. With their support and the support of  the member organisations, ATIEL will rise to the challenges set by  the Green Deal, for the benefit of our industries, our citizens and our  society as whole,” Piccinni said.
