Al Masaood and ADNOC Lubricants strengthen partnership
The Al Masaood Group, a privately held, diversified conglomerate based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), has signed a strategic agreement with ADNOC Distribution to strengthen their long-term collaboration and support the expansion of lubricants supply across the UAE.
The agreement extends cooperation to Al Masaood’s service centres, automotive operations, and industrial division, reinforcing the longstanding business relationship between the two Emirati entities.
ADNOC Voyager, the flagship lubricant brand manufactured in the UAE and sold by ADNOC Distribution, is a market leader in the Emirates. With a broad product range, it is well-positioned to meet the increasing needs of Al Masaood’s automotive and industrial businesses.
This partnership is aligned with Al Masaood’s commitment to contributing to the UAE economy and enhancing its In-Country Value (ICV) rating. It also supports the “Make it in the Emirates” initiative by investing in domestic manufacturing capabilities and promoting sustainable growth.
“We are proud to formalise this strategic agreement with ADNOC Distribution, reaffirming our commitment to the UAE’s national economic goals,” said Hani El Tannir, chief executive of Al Masaood’s Industrial Group. “The partnership supports our group-wide ambitions and highlights our shared values of operational excellence and long-term collaboration.”
Saber Al Amari, vice president of lubricants, base oils and speciality products at ADNOC Distribution, added: “This partnership is a strategic step to expand the reach of ADNOC Voyager lubricants. We remain committed to creating long-term value for our partners and customers, while supporting the UAE’s economic diversification by supplying a leading Emirati firm with high-performance, locally produced lubricants.”
Al Masaood is known for its long-standing alliances with prominent national organisations and continues to play a vital role in advancing the UAE’s automotive and manufacturing sectors. Today, the group operates in 18 market segments, encompassing over 50 companies and employing more than 2,000 people.
