ENOC Global Marine to expand global footprint
ENOC Global Marine, a specialised business division of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), is expanding its global footprint through a shipping agreement with Dubai Trading Agency (DTA).
The partnership will enable DTA to be a key distributor of ENOC’s marine lubricants portfolio in both local and global markets. Along with the rights to distribute ENOC products to international customers within the United Arab Emirates, the agreement will enable the trading of up to 600,000 litres per year of marine lubricants.
“With our extensive marine lubricants portfolio and deep expertise in technical support competencies in the maritime sector, ENOC Global Marine is a UAE success story that has reached over 25 markets to date,” said Burhan Al Hashemi, managing director, ENOC Marketing. “Our recent agreement with the DTA is an added milestone to our continuing growth story, and we look forward to building new bridges with customers in Europe and the Far East.”
ENOC Global Marine (EGM) is a division that is part of ENOC Lubricants. Since the division’s inception in 2015, EGM established a footprint in Africa, across key ports in Egypt, Nigeria, Angola, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco and Mauritania. The division also has capabilities to blend products locally in target markets, which in turn maximises supply chain efficiencies and ensures product availability close to consumers.
“We at DTA are honoured to be working closely with ENOC and look forward to this cooperation,” said Ali Lakhani, managing director, DTA. “We hope that this partnership results in beneficial growth for both parties. This agreement with ENOC comes at a time when oil prices are stabilising. With reports supporting a gradual rise in the near future, the medium term looks bright for the shipping and oil industry alike.”
ENOC Global Marine is headquartered in Dubai, UAE. The company has an extensive portfolio of application-based lubricants, designed to provide specific solutions geared towards achieving optimal performance for the shipping industry, with a portfolio that spans more than 80 ports in 16 countries.
