Ceca appoints Villain CEO

Christophe Villain was appointed chief executive officer of Ceca, Arkema’s Specialty Chemicals subsidiary in July. A graduate of the Paris Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie, he began his professional career with Elf Atochem SA, one of the companies involved in Arkema’s complex history, in 1987 as polypropylene development engineer within the Appryl subsidiary. Prior to knowledge_base appointment, he was group president of Arkema’s urea formaldehyde resins business unit. A global chemical player, Arkema combines three related and integrated business segments: vinyl products, industrial chemicals and performance products. (July 11, 2006)
